Thanks to parents, grandparents, volunteers and other special guests who have taken an hour or so from their day to teach what they know! They are an important part of our program!
Mr. Toppings July 2010 Gary Toppings, grandfather of Kennedy and Hadley, came to play accordion for the kids. Gary has been playing since he was 8 years old. | |

Maddy Rice
September 2009 Maddy graduated from Loving Arms and her little brother still attends. On her day off from school she decided to come in and read the children a book. She spent the morning with the kids helping in the classroom. |
Goldie Locks September 2009 Melinda Craft, mom of Carly, came to assist with the Grandparent Luncheon. With the theme of the lunch being "You are beary special to me", she decided it would be fun to dressed up as Goldie Locks. Melinda helped serve lunch as well as read a books to the children. | ![]() |
| | Carlton - Therapy Dog in Training September 2009 Carlton the Dog showed us how he listens. Carlton is owned by Rosie our Classroom Consultant. He is training to get his license to be a therapy dog. Carlton listened to Rosie and showed us his tricks. He did a great job obeying! He was like a big teddy bear!! Cat in the Hat
Cat in the Hat came in and brought Green Eggs and Ham for us to eat! It was yummy and a wonderful way to celebrate Dr. Seuss week!The Firefighter Puppet Show!
The firefighter department came to Loving Arms and put on a puppet show for us. It was a blast and we learned a lot about fire safety! Thank you all for coming!
Melinda Craft, Dance Teacher
Mrs. Melinda comes in and teaches us how to dance! It's a great time, and another wonderful service that is done at Loving Arms! Thanks Mrs. Melinda!
Jeff, the Firefighter
Mr. Jeff came in and taught us all about fire prevention and what to do if there is a fire. He even brought some of his firefighter friends along, and they brought their truck! Thanks Mr. Jeff!
Coach My!
Coach Meurig (from Happy Feet) has been seen regularly teaching the children "mad skills" with soccerballs. The kids love him and their shouts of enjoyment can be heard throughout the whole building!
