Hometown: I was born in Madison, WI, but I consider Wichita my hometown after living here for over two decades.

Education: B.S. in Elementary Ed from Dr. Martin Luther College (New Ulm, MN); Post Graduate Classes at Friends University; WELS Certification from Martin Luther College (New Ulm, MN)

Teaching Experience: Taught for 2 years in Michigan and one year in Wisconsin; Now the director at Loving Arms

Interests: I enjoy spending time with my husband and son. I also enjoy spending time with the Messiah church family participating in choir, Bible studies, book clubs and the other groups Messiah offers. My other interests include: travel, family, friends, walking, reading – it really depends on the day!

Favorite Bible Passage: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.” – Romans 8:28

Why you love this job: The kids! I really should carry around a notebook to journal all the cute things the kids say!

Favorite children’s book: The Crippled Lamb by Max Lucado or anything a child brings to my lap!
